Aluminosilicates hang in the water at just the right particle size to scatter the light into a blue that looks impossible. There are the hot springs around Bijagua, the long uphill walk to the waterfall, the cattle country stretching out toward Upala. This is the quieter face of northern Costa Rica. Most people who book a reading from here are around for a few days, often on a retreat or a short reset, and the volcano gives you the kind of horizon that lets you actually sit with whatever comes up.
